Day 1: ARRIVE IN ATHENS – SHOPPING AT PLAKA DISTRICT, ERMOU STREET, ATTICA CITY LINK AND KOLONAKI AREA
Welcome, Kalosorisate! Arrival at Athens airport where you will be met and transferred to your hotel for check-in. The afternoon is free at leisure for exploring this never-sleeping city. Start your visit with Syntagma Square and get into the city’s vibe. Ermou street, named by the ancient Greek god of Commerce, is the most commercial street of Athens with lots of branded and local stores. At the beautiful alleys of Plaka (the old district), you will have a nice, quiet walk where you can also find a big number of small shops selling souvenirs and other local artefacts. Wake up to breakfast at the hotel. Use the Electric urban railway (Isap) or the Suburban Railway or Athens Metro, and get off at ‘’Neratziotissa’’ station.
