Day 1 – Madrid / Beijing
Your adventure begins. Departure on a flight to Beijing via a connecting city. Overnight on board.
Day 2 – Beijing
Welcome to China! Arrival in the country's capital and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is free to start exploring the atmosphere of one of Asia's most fascinating cities. Overnight stay.
Day 3 – Beijing (Half Board)
Breakfast. We begin our tour with a visit to the magnificent Temple of Heaven, where the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties performed ceremonies to pray for good harvests. We then continue to the impressive Forbidden City, the world's largest imperial palace complex and former residence of China's emperors. Lunch. In the afternoon, we will stroll through the vast Tiananmen Square and end the day with a visit to a traditional tea house, where we will discover the art and culture behind one of China's most iconic beverages. Overnight stay.
Day 4 – Beijing (Full Board)
Breakfast. Today we visit one of the world's greatest landmarks: the Great Wall of China, at its famous Juyongguan section, where we will walk along part of this extraordinary UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lunch. On our return to the city, we will admire from the outside two of the most iconic venues of the 2008 Olympic Games: the Bird's Nest Stadium and the Water Cube. We will then visit the elegant Summer Palace, the former summer retreat of the imperial family. In the evening, enjoy a special dinner featuring the world-famous Peking Roast Duck. Overnight stay.
Day 5 – Beijing / Xi'an
Breakfast. Transfer to the railway station to board a high-speed train to Xi'an, one of China's most historic cities and the starting point of the ancient Silk Road. Picnic lunch served during the journey. Upon arrival, we will explore the lively Muslim Quarter, renowned for its bustling markets, street food, and traditional atmosphere. Overnight stay.
Day 6 – Xi'an (Half Board)
Breakfast. We begin the day by admiring the exterior of the elegant Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, one of the city's most recognizable landmarks. Lunch. Afterwards, we visit one of the greatest archaeological discoveries of the 20th century: the extraordinary Terracotta Army, made up of thousands of life-sized warriors guarding the mausoleum of China's first emperor. Overnight stay.
Day 7 – Xi'an / Chongqing (Half Board)
Breakfast. Departure by high-speed train to Chongqing, a vibrant metropolis nestled among mountains and rivers. Lunch. In the afternoon, we visit Eighteen Steps, a district where traditional architecture blends seamlessly with trendy cafés, boutique shops, and a lively local atmosphere. Overnight stay.
Day 8 – Chongqing / Zhangjiajie (Half Board)
Breakfast. Today we discover some of Chongqing's most remarkable attractions. We will ride the famous Liziba Metro, whose train line famously passes through a residential building, enjoy panoramic views from the Changjia Hui riverside terrace, cross the mighty Yangtze River by cable car, and stroll through the spectacular Hongya Cave, one of the city's most photographed landmarks. Lunch. Transfer to the railway station to board the train to Zhangjiajie. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 9 – Zhangjiajie (Half Board)
Breakfast. Full-day excursion to the breathtaking Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the inspiration behind the floating mountains featured in the film Avatar. We ascend aboard the impressive Bailong Elevator, the world's tallest outdoor lift, to explore the Yuanjiajie Scenic Area and admire the famous Avatar Hallelujah Mountain. We then continue to Tianzi Mountain, stopping at some of its most spectacular viewpoints. Lunch. The day concludes with a walk along Golden Whip Stream and a visit to the Geological Park Museum to learn about the origins of these extraordinary landscapes. Overnight stay.
Day 10 – Zhangjiajie / Shanghai (Half Board)
Breakfast. Visit to the spectacular Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon, where we will cross its world-famous Glass Bridge, suspended high between towering cliffs. We then continue to Tianmen Mountain, celebrated for its winding mountain road and thrilling Glass Skywalk, built along the edge of the cliffs. Lunch. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 11 – Shanghai (Half Board)
Breakfast. Discover China's most cosmopolitan city, beginning with the elegant Yuyuan Garden, a peaceful oasis in the heart of the bustling metropolis. Visit the Jade Buddha Temple and stroll through the charming Old Town. Lunch. In the afternoon, walk along the famous Bund, Shanghai's iconic waterfront promenade overlooking the futuristic skyline of Pudong, before ending the day on lively Nanjing Road, the city's premier shopping street. Overnight stay.
Day 12 – Shanghai / Madrid
Breakfast. Free time until your transfer. Before heading to the airport, enjoy one final unforgettable experience aboard the Maglev, the world's fastest commercial magnetic levitation train, which will take you directly to the airport for your return flight to Spain.
Day 13 – Madrid
Arrival in Madrid and end of an unforgettable journey through China's imperial heritage, modern cities, and breathtaking landscapes.
